This week I fixed the textures on all of my flowers so that they render properly with full bump maps exported from Mudbox.

I need to re-cache the bud in the background which is a single button press. That’s why he’s still grey. But anywho it took me longer than it should have but I figured out building the most effective bump shader network. I also finished putting a cloth sim on 2 of my flowers so that they blow in the breeze, but it isn’t giving me the results I would like as easily as I expected. In very near future I’m going to play with some classic deformers instead since the cloth sim pipeline is really slow due to all of the cache time.

In other news I made some fixes to the shot inside the supernova, so that all three ships render properly in the newest addition to the shot.

Lobster Fact: Lobsters can use their rock hard claws to smash the through shells of deceased turtles in order to access more meat within the animal.
